New site for research, but no news.
I will be writing a longer post this week while I am on vacation, but because of emails from a couple of readers of this blog, for now I have posted a link to the research site housing information about the AWARE II study. Unfortunately it is not very informative with no updates on enrollment – I have contacted the investigators and am hoping for more information from them. The study is still set to finish recruiting in May 2017, but if some interesting results materialize before then, hopefully we may get an interim “analysis”.

No they haven’t told me, but Dr Parnia published a book hinting at the results from AWARE I long before he formally presented them at a conference in Texas. I suspect if there were two verfiried OBEs, they may feel that this was such a significant event, that it would warrant an early announcement, although they may want to wait till the study is closed to insure integrity of the final result.
