Best NDE Interview ever!

Darren just couldn’t shut me up.

My travels have finally come to an end, and I will be working on a proper post this week in time for Easter.

Hello ‘Ben’ (and Darren). I like the way you talked about NDEs through an empirical lens and a spiritual perspective ~ You expressed the same point of view that I hold: science and spirituality can coexist.  The complexity of DNA was of interest to me. The fact that children report NDEs more than adults suggests that neurological factors affect memory and perception, IMO.

Interesting interview. Were you prompted to reach out to Darren after seeing the ER lights interview with Dr yerington? I’m a bit surprised you didn’t mention your own OBE experiences (not ones you personally experienced but I think you described two in your book).

    • Hi Pablo,
Darren contacted me, but it was a real honoour being interviewed by him considering the list of people he has interviewed before. Yes, maybe I should have described the OBEs of my father and the girl I dated. Certainly helped influence me.

Interesting interview, and congratulations. “Ben,” your blog is a highly democratic and high-level forum for discussion. It might be interesting to broaden the discussion by adding studies from other researchers. I’d especially love to see Dr. Pim Van Lommel’s on your blog, perhaps comparing it with Dr. Parnia’s. Best regards.
